Just a quick demo of iOS Push Notifications and Google Glass. Glass’s connectivity with iOS is a bit lacking, so I added push notification forwarding as a neat hack. And right now I working on a hack that will allow Glass users to receive all app push notifications from their jailbroken iOS devices. It’s not quite finished yet, but I just posted a demo video showing the mod in action. Jailbreak = iOS Freedom.

All push notifications are pushed from his iPhone to Google Glass. It’s system-wide, and works with all applications. And you can even swipe between your notifications, using Glass, with the touchpad located on the right side of the glasses. This hack will initially be for jailbroken idevices only (iPhone 5,4S,4 or 3GS), due to limitations in iOS, and will probably hit Cydia in the form of an app or tweak at some point.

iPhone 6 Release Date coming soon. That’s just the U.S., Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the U.K. I want to upgrade half way through my contract but cannot without spending a fortune? As we all know the iPhone 5S will probably be a refresh of the 8-month old iPhone 5 with a few more features, and now is the time to really think hard if it is worth purchasing your iPhone 5 now or is it more practical to wait for the next release.

Should I buy the iPhone 5 or wait for the 5S, or should I just wait for the iPhone 6? These questions arise often and this has steered us onto the iPhone 6 release date with contract deliberation, and about buying a new iPhone now or playing the waiting game.

Even though the iPhone 5S is expected to release this year it will look like the iPhone 5 with spec tweaks on the inside, so if it were a choice we had to make we would wait until 2014 for the iPhone 6, but everyone has a choice.

If you are considering buying the iPhone 5 because you really like it then wait a few more months and get the new iPhone 5S, the reason for doing this is simple, if you decide to purchase the iPhone 5 now on contract you will not be entitled to the iPhone 5S this year or the iPhone 6 next year because you will be stuck in a 2-year contract, which most contracts of today are about 2 years, unless you decide to break the contract and pay the difference in what you still owe.

Should I buy the iPhone 5 now or wait for the iPhone 5S or wait longer for the iPhone 6?

The iPhone 5 is a stunning phone, but like most smartphones it comes with its problems, but these are teething ones. It is a stunning smartphone with a lot of capabilities, and if you really want to purchase an iPhone 5 right now we would suggest wait it out and get the 5S, and if you already have the iPhone 5 and want the 5S we would suggest waiting for the 6 as this will be a lot different in terms of specs and technology.

You buy a new iPhone 5 today May 22, 2013 and you take out a new 2-year contract, this means you will have to wait until May 22, 2015 before you can upgrade leaving you missing out on the iPhone 5S, and if the iPhone 6 releases in 2014 you will miss out on this phone as well unless you adopt the early upgrade, and this will not be cheap.

iPhone 5 is old hat now
The iPhone 5 is no longer a new smartphone on the market, it is 8 months old, the iPhone 5S will probably feature iOS 7 but then this would be available for the iPhone 5, but the build quality on the 5S will be better than the 5. In simple terms, wait for the iPhone 5S if you really want to own an iPhone.

Carriers such as T-Mobile for example offer early upgrade options and if you are still in contract this does not mean you cannot get the new iPhone 5S when it releases, T-Mobile mentions that customers can pick the phone they want and they will give you a 25% discount on the monthly payments you have, they will recycle your phone for extra cash etc.

As we know when the iPhone 5S releases the carriers will open their doors to new customers, buying customers and those that are eligible for an upgrade.

New iPhone Customer
Wait for the iPhone 5S and do not purchase the iPhone 5, you will still have to play the waiting game for the iPhone 6 expected in 2014 if you are on a 2-year contract.

iPhone 5 Customer
If you plan on getting the iPhone 5S on contract once it releases we suggest waiting for the iPhone 6, there is not going to be major difference with the 5S. iOS 7 is what will change the iPhone 5S and current iPhone 5. Ok, so the new iPhone 5S will have a few more specs and maybe it will be a little faster, not hardly worth writing home about is it?

Customer already in a contract
If you are an owner of any phone including the iPhone 5 and you still have a running contract and wish to get the iPhone 5S, then be willing to wait 2-years before you can get your hands on the iPhone 6. Yes you can break your contract but be ready to dig into your pockets.

Please let us know if you will be getting the iPhone 5S or if you will be waiting for the iPhone 6?

Apple’s experiment to a smaller iPad to sell has been a great success and a successor – in the form of the iPad Mini 2 – is a logical consequence. According to the latest rumors, the tablet will be launched in the third quarter of this year. Much is known about the second generation mini iPad, but today we received a detailed render of a tipster with a list specifications, which leaves nothing to be desired.

The specifications of the iPad Mini 2:

7.9 inch Retina display
*2048 x 1536 pixels
*324 ppi
*Apple A6X processor
*8.0 megapixel camera
*2.0 megapixel front camera
*16, 32, 64 GB internal memory
*7.5 mm thickness

Screen
Judging from the above iPad 2 Mini render the “real deal”, we see that the design has remained to his predecessor. Almost identical The screen is more extended to the edges, making it almost an edge-to-edge touchscreen concerns. The screen size has remained the same – namely, 7.9 inches – and the overall size will therefore be smaller than the iPad Mini, because less space is used on the sides.

Pixel Density
Earlier rumors that the iPad Mini 2 would have also prove to be true, judging by the resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels, which means a pixel density of 324 ppi. Has a Retina display This brings the mini tablet close to the 326 ppi of the iPhone 5 .

Processor
The new iPad Mini would run on the same processor as used in the iPad 4, namely the rapid A6X Apple, but the tipster let us know that this is not quite certain. Because Apple is also working on the development of the A7 chipset. When it is ready in time for use, this new generation processor be fitted on the iPad Mini 2.

Lots messages. Lots questions. Lots comments. Only One Answer. The answer is simple – do not listen what write those who did not have this jailbroken idevice, but had read the conclusions of so-called experts and now criticize it without knowing about it from his personal practice. These tips will extend battery life for iPhone 5, iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 users, but you probably don’t need to bother with any of this unless your iPhone battery life is actually suffering. It’s usually pretty obvious when so, because those of us impacted by the battery drain will have a battery at 30%-60% by mid day despite very light to moderate usage.
Add a splash of features to your life with a new iPad 5 from the new Apple iPad collection. All-New iPad 5 coming soon. Autumn. According to a report from insiders who has heard from the Taiwan supply chain, Apple’s trial production of the all-new 5th generation 9.7-inch iPad will start soon, with volume production beginning in July. In September the fruit company will reportedly ramp up the production to 3-5 million units.

Although rumors about the production of future Apple products isn’t very exciting, the report went on to state that “the display of the new iPad, which will hit market shelves as early as September, will still be a 2,048 x 1,536 Retina display, the same as the one used in the 4th-generation model, except that the new display is built on a glass substrate of 0.2mm, thinner than the 0.25mm one for the 4th-generation device, the sources said, adding the new table will has a narrow bezel.”

iLife 13 Will Be Released In The Next Few Months. (WWDC 2013)

Application packages iLife and iWork long time ago found acceptance from iOS-devices users. Buyers are happy to work in Pages, Numbers and Keynote, which Apple has positioned as a replacement for similar programs of Microsoft Office, but when it comes to entertainment, then to make a small video or photos or little to edit picture is possible in iMovie and iPhoto. In general, the similar solutions Apple offers a lot.

However, as we know, technology is developing rapidly, and competitors can offer fresh solutions. Of course, any product eventually becomes obsolete and needs a global update. If we believe to our colleagues from MacRumors, this is what will happen to the application from the package iWork and iLife in the next few months.

Most recently, Apple has published on its website two new job positions. By job title, you can easily guess what will be doing future employees – one programmer and developer of iLife, the other – the main interface designer of iWork. Apparently, in the near future will appear a significant upgrade of the products, of course, if in Cupertino will find the right candidates quickly. I am sure that there will be enough wishful.

Surprisingly, but the mass renovation of Pages, Numbers and Keynote Corporation did not hold for four years. Of course, from time to time they get a few new features and widgets, but the structure and design remain unchanged. In iLife things are better: the last time Apple seriously update this application package in October 2010. Isn’t it a time to please their users with new developments and interfaces? It’s been passed not few years.

I believe that the new versions of iLife and iWork packages can be expected by the presentation of the seventh version of the operating system iOS, which simply has to surprise us all. If Apple will show some at the same time cardinal updates of their software, users will appreciate this move of the company. When will this happen? Experts still are at a loss, but the most appropriate period to present new products, many recognize June of this year.

iOS 7 Features, Download, Release Date, Rumors, Specs

iOS 7 comes with over 100 new features that will make the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch even better, but there’s a few caveats: first, it doesn’t run on all hardware, and second, on some of the supported devices the feature set will be limited. We’ll sort all of that out.

Devices Supported by iOS 7
According to Apple, the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad 5, iPad 4, iPad 3 and iPod touch 5th gen will all run iOS 7.

Noticeably absent from the supported device lineup are the iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, 1 and iPod touch 4rd gen, despite those devices having similar hardware to some of the other supported hardware. If you have one of these older devices, consider an upgrade if you want the latest and greatest features.

iOS 7 Feature Compatibility
Here is where things get slightly more complicated: Even if your iPhone or iPad can run iOS 7 that doesn’t mean it will support all of the features.

Some of the more anticipated and prominent improvements in iOS 7 like FaceTime over 3G won’t be supported on the iPhone 4 or 3GS for example, and Siri will come to iPad 3 but not iPad 2. And many of the most exciting features won’t work whatsoever on the iPhone 3GS, and are barely supported by the iPhone 4. If this sounds complicated it’s really not, but to help decipher which of the bigger features will work with what, MacRumors put together a helpful chart…

iOS 7 support chart for features
You’ll notice it’s only the newest hardware that is fully compatible with most of the major features of the newest iOS, but keep in mind that all supported hardware will be benefiting from the smaller improvements, with things like the iPhones new calling features, Guided Access, Single App mode, Facebook integration, Do Not Disturb, and all of the many more subtle improvements that were demoed at WWDC 2013.

iOS 7 was given a loose release date of this year.
