Cydia Has 1000000 Hits Per 5 minutes. So that’s 42k hits per second? How is that even possible? /me scratch his head. Every page request is going to involve a lot of hits for images; and then there are stylesheets and JavaScript… hits add up /fast/.

Cydia Store has installed on about 40 million iOS devices. When a new jailbreak like recent Evasi0n 1.0 comes out, the total amount of jailbroken iOS devices will climb to around 45 million iDevices. When a device is jailbroken, Cydia is typically installed by default for users to find tweaks and hacks. We think Cydia Installer will be used by about 60 million devices with iOS.
