With the release of the iPhone in 2007, the first model, the iPhone sold and serviced exclusively in the United States is the only one operator - AT&T. In February 2011, when the term of AT&T's exclusive contract with Apple expired, the US market came as CDMA-version of the iPhone 4 for Verizon operator. Later Verizon joined the third cellular provider Sprint.

Up to this point in the US Apple smartphones last generation sold only with reference to the mobile operator. Washer, implying the use of the network AT&T, Verizon or Sprint with two-year contract, worth $199, $299 and $399 or $299, $399 and $499 for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, respectively. It's very nice because all who want to buy iPhone 6 in USA can do it via AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint.
