How to configure iCloud Email on Android. Updated. 2014.

Despite the fact that the owners of mobile devices sometimes prefer platforms iOS, Android or Windows, they sometimes move from one OS to another. How to configure email box Apple iCloud on Android-device:

First of all, you need to run on Android email client. Then you need to enter a user name and password in the iCloud, as shown in the image below , go to Manual setup and then go to IMAP.

To configure the incoming mail server IMAP, you need to enter the following information:

IMAP- server : imap.mail.me.com
Username (Username): [email protected]
Password (Password): Apple ID password
Port number (Port number): 993

Don’t forget: In this type of security certificate must be installed on SSL. If SSL mode error message, try TLS.

To configure the outgoing mail server SMTP, enter the following data :

SMTP- server : smtp.mail.me.com
Username (Username): [email protected]
Password (Password): Apple ID password
Port number (Port number): 587
Type the security certificate : SSL or TLS

Having done all of the above , the user can send and receive mail on your iCloud Android- device.
