
Edition of The Telegraph wonders whether Apple stood on a path that will kill world’s most successful music player iPod? The previously reported quarterly results showed that sales of the device have suffered a terrible fall.
Quantity sold iPod was about 6 million compared to 12.7 million units in the same quarter end of 2012. A decrease of 55% in terms of revenue and 52% with respect to the units sold, which looks much more than if you look at other products from Apple.
For example, iPhone and iPad hitting sales records, prompting CEO Tim Cook to declare that the company is “really happy.” Over the past few years, sales of iPod fell gradually, but now it’s just collapse.
